Una peligrosa organización de ladrones dedicada a entraderas y robos de vehículos, conocida como La Banda de Curly, fue desarticulada por las autoridades policiales, en la localidad bonaerense de Villa Centenario, en el partido de Lomas de Zamora, al estar acusada de integrar el grupo que provocó la muerte de Cristian Gabriel Vico, quien era hijo del director técnico del club Brown, Pablo Vico. El episodio se registró en febrero pasado en Adrogué.
Los voceros revelaron que en el cruce del Camino Negro e Intendente Rossi, en Villa Centenario, los pesquisas policiales interceptaron un VW Gol verde, patente MRF 076. En el rodado viajaban 4 individuos de 35, 33 (este marginal tenía 2 pedidos de captura por robo), 24 y 20 años, y una mujer, de 19, quienes se encuentran identificados como miembros de la banda.
Según informó el diario Crónica, las fuerzas de seguridad con la colaboración del destacamento de Villa Rita y del Comando de Prevención Comunitaria (C.P.C.) de Lomas de Zamora efectuaron 3 allanamientos en fincas situadas en 12 de Octubre al 800, en Copihue al 200 y en Timoteo Gordillo al 2000, donde se identificó a los otros miembros de la organización. Los policías incautaron 7 aparatos de telefonía celular, marihuana y 6 vehículos (un Fiat 147, un VW Voyaje, un Ford Focus, un Peugeot 505, un Fiat Uno, y una camioneta Chevrolet C 10).
El caso
A las 13.10 del 5 de febrero pasado, en la esquina de Retiro y Soler, en Adrogué, 6 integrantes de la banda, que fugaban en un Peugeot 207, chapa FWI 040, luego de robar en una vivienda situada en Policastro al 100, en dicho distrito, chocaron violentamente contra una camioneta Renault Kangoo blanca, dominio NRG 990, que era guiada por el hijo del entrenador.
Cristian, que tenía 40 años, resultó herido de gravedad y murió el 9 de febrero en el Hospital Lucio Meléndez, en Adrogué.
Intervinieron en la causa el doctor Gastón Fernández, fiscal de la Unidad Funcional N° 11, y el magistrado de Garantías N° 3, Gustavo Alberto Gaig, del departamento judicial de Lomas de Zamora.
