Una importante delegación de deportistas de la Escuela Atra Sur de Taekwondo que trabajan bajo la dirección técnica del Sabun Nim, Roberto Barrientos y Raúl Albarenga participaron del “Campeonato Centro Sudamericano” que se llevó adelante en la Ciudad de Foz de Iguazú, Brasil.
Este torneo, uno de los más importantes a nivel continental convocó a 1300 competidores de nuestro país y en este marco los competidores de Atra Sur obtuvieron 24 podios, con diez medallas de oro, seis de plata y ocho de bronce.
La delegación estuvo formada en la categoría infantiles: Ciro Villarreal, Franco Bravo, Nazareno Correa, Genaro Alvarenga, Francisco Cederna, Milagros Osuna, Ailin Masdeu, Luana Galván, Alejo Salomón, Javier Salomón, Santiago Bertoli, Joaquín Galván, Matheo Rosello, Federico Chara Lobo, Alejo Chávez; y en juveniles y adultos: Javier Wiesener, Javier Bertoli, Diego Molina, Amalia Lobo, Nicolás Chara, Nahuel Avalos, Axel Avalos, Romina Almeida, Emiliano Rojas, Hernán Ortholan, Raúl Alvarenga, Roberto Barrientos.
Ya de regreso en Almirante Brown, Raúl Albarenga relató que “la experiencia fue maravillosa tanto dentro del estadio como fuera de él, donde pudimos convivir todos en un ambiente de camarería y amistad”.
