Magrio Gonzalez tiene 27 años, nació en Glew y “como viene la mano me voy a morir en Glew”, dice con su humor característico el dibujante. Autodidacta, es el creador junto a Aníbal Maglione de “Lisandro Leguleyo”, una animación satírica y corrosiva sobre las peripecias de un abo-gado que “puede saltar de una referencia a la cultura pop a un chiste sobre filosofía y terminar con un tipo siendo golpeado en la ingle”.
Cada capítulo tiene miles de visitas de todo el planeta en youtube y va por su segunda temporada. Con un humor que ronda la acidez de la serie Padre de Familia y el estilo de South Park, es uno de los exponentes de la animación independiente y orgulloso habitante del Sur quien contó un poco de su vida personal y artística en esta nota al diario El Argentino edición sur.
-¿Cuándo te diste cuenta que lo tuyo era la animación?
–Dibujaba historietas desde los 4 años, pero cuando me preguntaban qué quería ser de grande respondía Carpintero, aunque nunca había tocado un martillo en mi vida. A los 12 años experimentando dos programas comunes de windows, nos dimos cuenta con mi her-mano que podíamos animar, cosa que nos parecía ilógica ya que habíamos crecido pensando que los dibujos animados los hacían cientos de coreanos en estudios inmensos bancados por plata del primer mundo. Al año siguiente descubrimos un programa de animación bastante sencillo pero profesional: el Flash, que es con el que llevo animando 15 años. Siempre fui autodidacta. Mis profesores fueron programas de televisión que enseñaban a dibujar y tutoriales de Internet.
-¿De dónde surge Lisandro Leguleyo?
-En 2010 había terminado de trabajar en una película de animación (El Sol, de Ayar Blasco), que me había consumido varios años de vida. No quería volver a animar nada por un tiempo, pero a las dos semanas le escribí a Aníbal, un guionista con el que hacíamos humor gráfico, para que escribiéramos una serie. Como él es abogado pensamos que el ámbito legal era un buen contexto para contar las historias que queríamos y hacer el humor que nos interesaba.
-¿Usás historias de tu localidad para las animaciones?
-A los 16 hice una serie de un Superhéroe de Longchamps que en el primer capítulo debía enfrentar a una anciana que tomaba rehenes en un banco de Glew, esa serie estaba muy apegada al contexto barrial. Ahora busco algo más global porque tenemos público de otros países. Entonces mostramos cosas de la vida real, de la política, la educación, etcétera, y no usando elementos meramente argentinos. Aunque al final de cuentas los personajes hablan como nosotros y algunas referencias hacemos, siempre y cuando no sean el eje principal de la historia.
-¿Hay personajes de tu barrio?
-En cada personaje que creamos hay algo de gente que conocemos, de gente con la que crecimos. Gracias a Internet nos damos cuenta que nuestro barrio no dista mucho otros barrios ni de otros países. Pero todos los personajes tienen algo de nosotros mismos, sobre todo lo peor de nosotros, que es lo más caricaturizable.
-¿Cómo es el laburo de animador en el Sur hoy?
–Internet descentralizó el trabajo del animador que debía viajar a Capital para cumplir un horario. Mi trabajo está en mi casa, en Glew, y nunca tuve que moverme de acá. Las redes sociales descubren que no muy lejos hay cientos de personas dibujando en este momento y subiendo su trabajo a Internet.
