Una mujer de 47 años murió al recibir un balazo en la boca luego de forcejear con su marido, un suboficial de la Prefectura Naval Argentina. El episodio se registró ayer como saldo de una violenta discusión que la pareja mantuvo en la localidad bonaerense de La Cañada, en el partido de Quilmes. Las autoridades policiales detuvieron al sujeto.
Los voceros revelaron que la víctima fue identificada como Miriam Velázquez, de 47 años. Trascendió que el hecho se produjo en la madrugada de la víspera en la calle 885 al 1.200, en la zona sur del conurbano provincial, cuando la mujer y su esposo Carlos Alberto Ortiz, de 25 años, regresaron a su finca, procedentes de una fiesta realizada en San Francisco Solano.
Por motivos que se procuran establecer, el muchacho y la víctima entablaron discusión. De acuerdo a lo que el individuo les narró a los investigadores policiales, Velázquez habría logrado apoderarse de su pistola reglamentaria 9 milímetros y, entonces, Ortiz intentó quitársela por la fuerza.
Se originó en estas circunstancias un forcejeo entre el sujeto y la mujer, el cual finalizó en tragedia, porque de acuerdo a lo que dijo Ortiz, el arma de fuego se accionó y un proyectil impactó en la boca de la víctima, quien cayó en un charco de sangre.
Velázquez dejó de existir casi de manera instantánea, como consecuencia de la gravedad de las heridas.
Momentos después, los miembros de la comisaría de La Cañada (5ª de Quilmes) apresaron al suboficial involucrado en el episodio. Además, los servidores públicos incautaron la pistola del joven.
