El ministro de Interior y Transporte encabezó en el Puerto de Buenos Aires la recepción de 36 coches cero kilómetro -de un total de 300-, criticó la política de transporte del gobierno porteño y dijo que “los únicos coches nuevos del subte están en la línea A y los compró la Nación”.
“Estimamos que para mediados de junio deberíamos tener totalmente renovada la Línea Roca”, dijo el funcionario luego de recorrer las formaciones estacionadas en Dársena Norte en compañía del secretario General de la Presidencia, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro, del presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Julián Domínguez, y del presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas, Mariano Recalde.
Randazzo calificó el arribo de los nuevos coches como “un paso más en este proceso de puesta en valor del sistema ferroviario decidido por la Presidenta de la Nación”, y recordó que la Línea Roca “es la más importante del área metropolitana”.
“Son 300 coches que van a reemplazar los 148 existentes, es decir que vamos a duplicar la capacidad de transporte”, sostuvo en referencia a las mejoras iniciadas en esa línea que recorre la zona sur del Gran Buenos Aires y que traslada cerca de un millón de pasajeros por día.
Randazzo criticó la política de transporte público del gobierno porteño y dijo que los habitantes de la ciudad “no deben conformarse con tan poco. El Metrobus ha sido un avance, al igual que las bicisendas, pero me parece que no es lo suficiente para tener un transporte público como el que se merece la capital de la República Argentina”, acotó.
“Nosotros hemos podido demostrar que se puede, que se podía llevar adelante un proceso de transformación en los dos años y medio en los que pusimos en valor todo el sistema ferroviario del área metropolitana”, afirmó.
