El cadáver con un cable en el cuello y el torso parcialmente quemado de un herrero, de 39 años, apareció dentro de una vivienda, en un misterioso y horrendo suceso registrado en Adrogué. Las autoridades policiales investigan el caso y sospechan que el sujeto habría sido asesinado, pero no descartan otras hipótesis con respecto al tremendo episodio que originó gran consternación entre los habitantes de esa zona.
Los voceros revelaron que la víctima fue identificada como Fabián Leonardo Maidana, de 39 años. Trascendió que el hallazgo se produjo cuando los integrantes del destacamento Malvinas Argentinas recibieron una denuncia, al número telefónico de emergencias 911, con respecto a la existencia de una persona muerta, en una finca situada en el cruce de Algarrobo y Ombú.
De inmediato los efectivos dependientes de la comisaría de Adrogué concurrieron rápidamente al mencionado lugar, apoyados por los agentes policiales del Comando de Prevención Comunitaria (CPC) de Almirante Brown.
Según informa el diario Crónica, en la vivienda, las autoridades dialogaron con Carlos María Colman, paraguayo, de 33 años, quien les narró que Maidana, que era su patrón, yacía fallecido en el interior de esa vivienda. Por tal motivo, los policías ingresaron al domicilio y observaron el cuerpo sin vida del herrero.
Maidana, que estaba muerto en el living de la casa, presentaba un trozo de cable en el cuello y el torso parcialmente quemado. Versiones extraoficiales sostuvieron que el herrero tenía una obstrucción en la boca.
Algunos habitantes del vecindario afirmaron que Maidana residía en la localidad bonaerense de Aldo Bonzi, en el partido de La Matanza, pero que siempre utilizaba el inmueble para desarrollar tareas de herrería.

La gente dijo además que el hombre usaba esa vivienda de Adrogué para descansar de lunes a sábados. Los investigadores procuran establecer si el individuo fue brutalmente asesinado o si su muerte ocurrió en otras circunstancias, porque el caso tiene ribetes muy confusos.
