A raíz de repercusiones mediáticas que se produjeron en el día de la fecha, producto de notificaciones enviadas a los usuarios de algunos de los planes de datos de la empresa de telefonía celular Movistar, la CNC exigió mediante nota a la licenciataria un informe detallado explicando los pormenores de la situación.
Además, desde esta Comisión Nacional se están llevando adelante auditorías a las empresas de telefonía celular para verificar que las mismas informen a los usuarios de manera clara y detallada los planes, abonos, promociones, consumos y cambios en los contratos conforme a lo establecido en la normativa vigente.
La reglamentación establece que las empresas tienen la obligación de dar a conocer en detalle los precios del servicio en los diferentes canales de comunicación (web de la empresa, líneas gratuitas, por mensaje de texto o correo electrónico) y que deben informar a los usuarios y a la CNC (según la Resolución de la Secretaría de Comunicaciones Nº 26/13) con 60 días de anticipación cualquier modificación en las condiciones comerciales del plan contratado, dando la posibilidad a los usuarios de rescindirlo sin cargo, en caso de no aceptar las nuevas condiciones.
Asimismo, en la CNC, existe una Comisión Permanente de Usuarios de Comunicaciones en la cual representantes de 25 asociaciones de usuarios de todo el país canalizan los reclamos que reciben de sus asociados en las reuniones que mantienen con autoridades del ente de control cada 15 días.
Todos los usuarios que no hayan sido informados por los diferentes canales de comunicación de la prestadora de una modificación en la oferta comercial de los planes deberán realizar el reclamo ante la empresa y, en caso de no encontrar respuesta satisfactoria, contactarse con la CNC al 0800-333-3344 para recibir asesoramiento.
