En el marco del acto oficial por el Día de la Bandera, desde Rosario, la presidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner aseguró: “Desde el lugar que esté, siempre estaré junto a ustedes”. En un apartado de su discurso se refirió a las “bases mediáticas” -que comparó con las militares- “dispuestas a bombardear todos los días los procesos y proyectos populares”.
Desde el Monumento a la Bandera y por cadena nacional, Fernández de Kirchner sostuvo que “en estos 12 años de gestión hemos protagonizado junto a todos los argentinos el mayor proceso de crecimiento económico con inclusión social del que se tenga memoria. Es hora que en honor a esos hombres -por los héroes patrios- nos sentamos a debatir proyectos para profundizar el desarrollo”.
La jefa de Estado recordó que Manuel Belgrano fue un “político y economista que tomó las armas para defender la Patria” por lo que “no debe ser recordado el día de su muerte sino el día de sus victorias”.
Casi como una crítica a los relatos históricos dominantes, Fernández de Kirchner aseguró: “No es casualidad que muchas veces se intente despojar de su verdadera personalidad” a los héroes de la Patria ”y cuestionó los relatos históricos en los que parece que “la política no existía y que las ideas tampoco”. “Me resisto a recordar a los combatientes de la Patria como viejitos el día de su muerte. Eran jóvenes, comprometidos con sus ideas, con convicciones por la política y con el Estado, con el pueblo y la Nación”.
Durante el acto frente al Río Paraná, la presidenta recordó que le gusta mucho la historia y que el Coronel Manuel Dorrego será ascendido a General post mortem. “A Dorrego le decían El Loco, no había aceptado ninguna promoción de grado militar que no hubiera ganado en el campo de batalla”.
La mandataria sostuvo durante el acto oficial que los grandes héroes de la Patria “no fueron solos a la batalla, fueron acompañados por el pueblo. Quienes regaron con su sangre la campaña del Norte fueron los más humildes”. En ese sentido consideró que la libertad requiere “sacrificios” y que ser independiente “no es gratis”.
En otro fragmento de su discurso mencionó el acto por el Día de la Bandera del año pasado, el cual tuvo lugar a pocos días de la sentencia del juez Thomas Griesa a favor de los fondos buitre. “Quieren humillar a la soberanía argentina y desencadenar un proceso de nuevo endeudamiento para todos los argentinos”, aseguró Cristina Fernández en relación al magistrado estadounidense.
Los festejos fueron organizados de manera conjunta entre la Nación, la provincia y el municipio y, oficialmente, arrancaron ayer a las 9 de la mañana con el izamiento de la Bandera en el mástil mayor del monumento. Durante el festejo, se doraron kilos y kilos de costillares y achuras para el tradicional Encuentro de Asadores a la Estaca. Tras el acto oficial habrá shows musicales y eventos tradicionalistas que se extenderán hasta mañana.
