Con la participación de equipos de todo el Conurbano sur se llevó adelante la etapa interregional de fútbol reducido para jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual que tuvo como escenario el predio del Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales de Almirante Brown en Ministro Rivadavia.
La jornada dedicada íntegramente a la categoría cadetes tuvo como ganador en la Categoría A a Almirante Brown, en la B a La Matanza y en la C a Presidente Perón.
En el caso del equipo browniano los chicos pertenecen a la Escuela de Educación Especial Nº 503 que de esta manera lograron su pasaporte a las finales que se disputarán a partir del 22 de septiembre en la ciudad de Mar del Plata.
La jornada fue seguida de cerca por el director de Recreación y Turismo social del municipio, Martín Salerno quién destacó el trabajo que se realiza desde hace años en materia de fútbol para chicos con discapacidad intelectual ya que “tenemos una liga a la cuál invitamos a participar a municipios vecinos y este es un poco el semillero que nos sirve para mantener a los chicos en competencia y prepararlos para estos eventos”.
