El ministro del Interior y Transporte, Florencio Randazzo, anunció que los trenes cero kilómetro comenzarán a prestar servicio a partir del mes de junio en la Línea General Roca beneficiando a millones de su usuarios del sur del conurbano bonaerense.
Un total de 300 coches nuevos fueron comprados para renovar esa línea ferroviaria que comenzaron a llegar al país a partir del mes de de febrero y desde entonces “están a prueba”, dijo el ministro.
“Se realizaron pruebas diurnas y nocturnas, estáticas y dinámicas, donde se certificaron sistemas en general, de iluminación exterior e interior, comunicaciones, los sistemas electrónicos, frenos, aceleración y puertas”, detalló Randazzo.
Precisó que se realizaron pruebas de velocidades máximas en el tramo Guernica-Alejandro Korn donde la formación “tuvo un muy buen comportamiento a 60, 80, 100 y 120km por hora”.
“Con estas modernas formaciones duplicaremos la capacidad de transporte de la línea que es la más importante del conurbano con 500 mil pasajeros por día”, agregó Randazzo.
En este sentido, según informa la agencia de noticias Telam, el ministro anticipó que “durante abril, llegarán 100 coches cero kilómetro más que entrarán inmediatamente en etapa de pruebas para llegar en tiempo para que comience la renovación y los pasajeros comiencen a disfrutar de los nuevos coches”.
“Son todos trenes que cuentan con la última tecnología en seguridad y confort como los que ya incorporamos en las líneas Sarmiento, Mitre y San Martín”, detalló Randazzo.
Entre sus comodidades enumeró que “tienen aire acondicionado, puertas automáticas, cámaras de seguridad, frenos ABS y toda la tecnología para mejorar la calidad del viaje en la línea”.
“Además, estamos avanzando fuertemente en la electrificación del ramal Constitución – La Plata, una obra que estuvo paralizada durante 35 años y que, si las empresas cumplen lo pactado, estará finalizada sobre fin de año”, agregó Randazzo.
