El “Festival Brown, Rock y vos” se realizará el viernes, sábados y domingo, en Longchamps con las presentaciones de Vox Dei, Virus y los Auténticos Decadentes que serán los encargados del cierre de tres jornadas a pura música y con entrada libre y gratuita.
El festival arrancará a las 14, con la actuación de bandas y solistas locales para dar lugar a las 20 horas a los shows que la comunidad estará esperando. Vox Dei se estará presentando el viernes 20, Virus el sábado 21 y Los Auténticos Decadentes el domingo 22.
Vox Dei es una de las bandas pioneras del rock nacional. Surgida en Quilmes en 1967, la Integran Carlos Gardellini, Willy Quiroga y Simón Quiroga. En noviembre de 2013 editó La Biblia 40 años; grabada en vivo en el teatro San Martín con un coro de 50 personas y miembros del grupo The End como invitados.
Por su parte, Virus es la mítica banda que liderada por Federico Moura y su voz marcó a fuego una época del rock nacional, allá por los ¨80, con temas como “Imágenes paganas”, “Luna de miel”, “Todo gira”, “Carolina”, “Hay que salir del agujero interior”, “Garage”, “El probador”, etc. Ahora la encabeza su hermano, Marcelo Moura.
En cuanto a Los Auténticos Decadentes vienen de actuar en Palacio de los Deportes de la ciudad de México, presentando su nuevo trabajo “Y la banda sigue”; y estuvieron en el Festival Nacional de Música en Baradero y en el “Cosquín Rock”, en las sierras de Punilla en Córdoba.
La banda de rock y ska surgió en 1986, al influjo de Gustavo “Cucho” Parisi, Gustavo “Nito” Montecchia y Gastón Bernardou. La integran, además, Jorge “Perro viejo” Serrano, Diego Demarco, Martín Lorenzo, Daniel Zimbello, Pablo Armesto, Pablo Rodríguez, Eduardo Trípodi, Mariano Franceschelli, Guillermo Eijo y Claudio Carrozza.
