La querella había solicitado cadena perpetua y la pena de “homicidio agravado por alevosía”, debido a que el imputado es un ex integrante de una fuerza de seguridad. Finalmente la sentencia condenó a Correa por “homicidio simple” y “tentativa de homicidio”.
