Hoy se conocerá la sentencia en el juicio por el crimen de Mauro Silva, el joven que fue asesinado en la puerta del bingo de Adrogué. El acusado, el ex-policia Mario Correa, podría ser condenado a prisión perpetua.
En la lectura de los alegatos de la semana pasada, los abogados de la querella, María Laura Táccari e Ismael Jalil, solicitaron la pena de “homicidio agravado por alevosía”, debido a que el imputado es un ex integrante de una fuerza de seguridad. Además, pidieron que lo juzguen por “tentativa de homicidio”, ya que en el mismo episodio que murió el joven también sufrió graves heridas su hermano, Renzo Silva.
El abogado destacó que al solicitar que se tengan en cuenta como agravantes la alevosía y el abuso de su función, “lo único que le queda al acusado es perpetua, es decir, 32 años y un poco más”.
Asimismo, el último agravante se comprueba de dos formas distintas: “Ser policía y actuar en abuso de su función o cargo”, explicó y agregó: “Que es policía no cabe duda, porque el estado policial se mantiene aún cuando te jubilás. La única manera de perderlo es cuando entrás en cesantía”.
El proceso comenzó el 21 de abril con el testimonio de Renzo, quién acusó a Correa de haber atentado contra él y su hermano, quién finalmente falleció. Además, en esa audiencia declararon los testigos presenciales, quienes también señalaron al ex efectivo como el autor material de los disparos.
“Ojalá que se haga justicia porque está muy claro lo que ocurrió, los testigos vieron todo y las cámaras del bingo
lo grabaron. Este policía tiró a matar a dos personas porque fueron a defender a una mujer”, dijo Celia Cueto, madre de las víctimas
El hecho
El crimen de Mauro ocurrió el 2 de julio de 2013 a las 21.15, cuando los hermanos comían en el local “Pancho Bahía”, cerca del bingo de Adrogué.
De repente, vieron que un hombre con jeans y camisa negra golpeaba y arrastraba de los pelos a una mujer en la puerta del salón de juegos.
Poco antes, el matrimonio había sido invitado a retirarse del lugar porque discutían y se insultaban y una vez en la vereda el hombre empezó a pegarle cachetazos y trompadas a la mujer, que no podía defenderse.
Los hermanos primero intentaron frenar la golpiza gritándole al hombre, pero cuando se acercaron a defender a la mujer, identificada como Liliana Luna, el agresor sacó una pistola y le disparó dos veces a Mauro, lo que le provocó la muerte en el acto.
También fue herido de dos balazos su hermano, quien fue trasladado al Hospital General de Agudos Lucio Meléndez y quedó fuera de peligro.
Luego de los disparos, el agresor volvió a ingresar al bingo pero fue detenido por un policía que vio cuando se le cayó la pistola de una bolsa naranja que llevaba.
A su vez, los pesquisas determinaron que el acusado Correa trabajaba como custodio en la Municipalidad de Ezeiza, donde utilizaba la pistola 9 milímetros Bersa Thunder que le fue secuestrada por el ataque a los hermanos Silva.
