Para los alumnos de la escuela 54 del Barrio La Cumbre de Burzaco ayer fue un día especial. No sólo por algunos conocían por primera vez la Casa Rosada sino porque recibieron de manos de la presidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner su netbook en el marco del programa Conectar Igualdad.
En el acto, la Jefa de Estado entregó la computadora número 5 millones de este programa que busca garantizar el acceso de todos los jóvenes a las nuevas tecnologías y construir una mejor calidad de enseñanza en la escuela.
Cristina sostuvo que “muchos que cuestionan al plan Conectar Igualdad se quejan de que los chicos no las usan para estudiar, pero desconocen que la potencialidades de esas computadoras van más allá del ámbito escolar“, porque “aprenden desde muchos soportes con los que crecieron, por ejemplo los videojuegos“.
“Estamos ante una revolución tecnológica gracias a Conectar Igualdad, destinada no solo a cambiar la forma en que los alumnos argentinos pueden formarse, sino también capacitando a los docentes. Este programa superó todas nuestras expectativas. Las 5 millones de netbooks ya otorgadas representan una nueva forma de enseñanza en todo el país”, aseguró la Presidenta.
Los cinco jóvenes de Almirante Brown que fueron en representación de la escuela a recibir lo que para muchos es su primer computadora estuvieron acompañados por la vicedirectora del establecimiento, Claudia Concetti, quien destacó la “emoción” y la “alegría” de haber sido seleccionado para ir a Casa Rosada.
También estuvieron presentes en el acto los candidatos por el FpV de Almirante Brown a intendente, Mariano Cascallares, a primer concejal, José Lepere y consejera escolar Natalia Charles Mangeón, quienes acompañaron a los alumnos y a los directivos en tan importante entrega.
Cascallares se mostró emocionado ya que “es una verdadera alegría ser parte de este proyecto nacional que sigue haciendo efectivos los derechos en este caso de los estudiantes de mi distrito”, al tiempo que se comprometió a “seguir trabajando con más fuerza que nunca para fortalecer en mi distrito a este Estado que iguala oportunidades”.
Por su parte, el subsecretario general de la Presidencia, Lepere, destacó las políticas de inclusión social implementadas a lo largo de estos 12 años. “Hoy estamos entregando una computadora que tiene una esencial función educativa y de acceso a nuevas tecnologías pero sobre todo con esta entrega no sólo estamos achicando la brecha tecnológica, también estamos reduciendo la brecha social, estamos promoviendo más y mejor inclusión social”, aseguró el subsecretario general de la Presidencia al tiempo que agregó que, “para nosotros, como representantes de Almirante Brown, la alegría es doble ya que estamos compartiendo esta acto con estudiantes y docentes de nuestro querido distrito“.
Conectar Igualdad
Conectar Igualdad fue creado en abril de 2010 a través del Decreto Nº 459/10, para recuperar y valorizar la escuela pública y reducir las brechas digitales, educativas y sociales en el país.
Es una política de Estado implementada en conjunto por Presidencia de la Nación, la Administración Nacional de Seguridad Social (Anses), el Ministerio de Educación, la Jefatura de Gabinete de Ministros y el Ministerio de Planificación Federal.
Como una política de inclusión digital de alcance federal, el programa provee netbooks a todos los alumnos y docentes de las escuelas secundarias, de educación especial y de los institutos de formación docente de gestión estatal de todo el país.
El programa contempla el uso de las computadoras tanto en la escuela como en los hogares de los chicos y de sus maestros y profesores, por lo que impacta en la vida diaria de familias de las más heterogéneas comunidades.
En este sentido, Conectar Igualdad se propone trabajar para lograr una sociedad alfabetizada en las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), con posibilidades de un acceso democrático a esos recursos sin distinción de grupo social, económico ni de las más diversas geografías, tanto rurales como urbanas.
