En el marco de las políticas de saneamiento hidráulico provincial, el Ministerio de Infraestructura invertirá 240 millones de pesos para sanear 20 cauces que surcan el Conurbano bonaerense a fin de prevenir desbordes. Almirante Brown es uno de los distritos beneficiados con estas obras de infraestructura.
Según informa el Diario Popular, el plazo de ejecución de las obras es de entre 120 y 150 días y mejoran notablemente el escurrimiento en áreas que presentan gran densidad poblacional.
Estas obras beneficiarán también a los municipios de Lomas de Zamora, Esteban Echeverría, Quilmes, Florencio Varela, La Matanza, Luján, Pilar y Escobar, entre otros, con una inversión estimada en 240 millones de pesos.
Arroyos seleccionados
Los arroyos incluidos son Santa Catalina, Ortega, Medrano, el cauce antiguo del arroyo La Matanza y limpieza de cursos (río Matanza, zanja colectora RP17 y canal av Ingeniero Huergo), San Francisco-Las Piedras y Padre Mujica.
Además, figuran el Morales, Pereyra, El Haras, Gutiérrez, Pinazo, afluente El Molino, Finochietto, Las Víboras, Don Mario, Susana, arroyo La Verde, arroyo Toro, Canal Monterrey, arroyo Dupuy, Burgueño.
Estos trabajos se suman a muchas otras obras hidráulicas que ya se están ejecutando en arroyos de distintos municipios como en el San Francisco y Las piedras en Quilmes, el zanjón Martínez en Morón o el Río Luján que abarca varios distritos.
Entre las tareas a ejecutar en todos los casos se incluye la eliminación de obstrucciones, el retiro de malezas, árboles y elementos artificiales en las márgenes y en los cursos propiamente dichos, entre otros.
También la conformación de secciones transversales adecuadas y pendientes longitudinales compatibles con los condicionantes de iniciación y desembocaduras de cada cauce.
