Para el segundo tiempo, la fórmula de la vicita se iba a repetir. A los 8 minutos, un error defensivo en la última línea de Atlanta le permitió al goleador de la tarde, Quintana rematar curzado al arco de Aurrecochea y poner el resultado 2 a 0 para el Trico.
Con el resultado puesto, el visitante se sintió aún más cómodo en el partido y dominó prácticamente todas las acciones del juego hasta el final. Brown terminó ganando con justicia casi sin que le crearan una sola opción de gol clara en todo el partido.
