En allanamientos realizados por la CPC de Florencio Varela, en conjunto con la Jefatura Departamental, los efectivos policiales ingresaron a once viviendas en el marco de la investigación del asesinato del gendarme de 55 años que apareció muerto la semana pasada adentro de su camioneta, a cuatro cuadras de su casa.
Todas las viviendas allanadas son de ese distrito y las personas podrían estar vinculadas con el crimen de este hombre. En las casas encontraron armas de distintos calibres y los apresados tienen entre 19 y 32 años y además dos hombres de 62 y 68 años.
El asesinato. El suboficial de Gendarmería Nacional fue encontrado muerto en un descampado de Florencio Varela, con una herida de bala en una pierna que le afectó la arteria femoral, por lo que según las conclusiones forenses le produjo la muerte al instante.
El hombre era el suboficial principal Gerardo Orlando Verón, de 55 años, asignado al Operativo Cinturón Sur de Seguridad. En el lugar se encontró una billetera con sus documentos y más de 1.000 pesos, como también una mochila con sus pertenencias.
La cartuchera de la pistola tenía un orificio del lado de adentro, pero el arma no pudo ser encontrada hasta esta mañana, por lo que una de las hipótesis era que se le hubiera escapado un tiro y que luego se la hayan robado.
El hecho ocurrió en la mañana de ayer, alrededor de las 8, en la calle 1335, entre 1308 y 1310, del barrio Los Perales, en la localidad de La Capilla, al sur del conurbano.
Vecinos del barrio escucharon un disparo y avisaron a la policía, que al llegar solo encontró un reguero de sangre. Los agentes siguieron las manchas hasta un terreno baldío ubicado a unos 50 metros y allí hallaron el cadáver del gendarme, que aparentemente resultó herido cuando iba a trabajar y murió desangrado.
La víctima, que vivía a unas cuatro cuadras de donde fue encontrado muerto, tenía en su poder una mochila con un cargador de balas para pistola, una notebook, la billetera con dinero y documentos y ropas. Investiga lo ocurrido la comisaría quinta de Florencio Varela, donde se instruyeron las primeras actuaciones por “averiguación causales de muerte”, con intervención de la fiscal Mariana Bongiovani, titular de la UFI descentralizada 2 de Florencio Varela que depende de los tribunales de Quilmes.
