Si hay una institución respetada por los vecinos son los Bomberos Voluntarios quienes cumplen una función social irreemplazable en la sociedad.
En reconocimiento a esta labor y con el objetivo de contribuir a mejorar su servicio, la Comisión Nacional de Comunicaciones (CNC) donó ocho equipos de comunicación a la Sociedad de Bomberos Voluntarios de Almirante Brown.
El acto de entrega de equipamiento se realizó en el cuartel de Longhamps y contó con la presencia del subsecretario general de la Presidencia y referente del FpV local, José Lepere quien fue el que realizó las gestiones necesarias ante la CNC: “Es una satisfacción poder colaborar con los bomberos voluntarios, una institución que es sinónimo de solidaridad profesionalismo, compromiso con la comunidad y amor por el prójimo”.
Por su parte, el comandante Mayor Eduardo Bertelli remarcó la importancia de estas radios que permitirán mejorar la comunicación durante los operativos. “Para nosotros es esencial que nuestros efectivos estén comunicados para mejorar la eficiencia del servicio prestado a la comunidad”, destacó Bertelli quien agradeció los equipos a Lepere y al interventor de la CNC, Nicolas Karavaski.
Bertelli también aprovechó la ocasión para invitar a la comunidad a participar mañana de los festejos por el día de los Bomberos Voluntarios que contarán con la presencia de los conductores y el equipo de producción del programa Cocineros Argentinos que estarán transmitiendo su programa en vivo desde el cuartel de Longchamps
Los equipos entregados
El comandante del Cuartel de Bomberos de Almirante Brown explicó que los equipos donados son transceptores VHF que serán instalados y utilizados en los vehículos de la flota o en las bases radioeléctricas de alguno de los cuarteles.
Este equipamiento facilitará las comunicaciones directas en momentos de catástrofes, accidentes, asistencias o actividades que diariamente deben llevar adelante los Bomberos para velar por la vida y seguridad de la comunidad.
Los sistemas VHF son utilizados generalmente por ambulancias, bomberos y la policía entre otros. Es el sistema ideal para este tipo de actividades que requiere estar en continuo movimiento y comunicación en situaciones que involucren la integridad física y la seguridad de personas
