“El estudio está hecho sobre 300 mil autos en el área metropolitana de Buenos Aires, que tienen un promedio de entre 7 y 8 años de antigüedad”, marca Gabriel Mysler, gerente general de Ituran Argentina, la empresa de rastreo satelital especializada en recuperación vehicular que dio a conocer un informe donde ubica al Sur del conurbano bonaerense como la segunda región con más robos, detrás del oeste y delante de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, tercera.
Según las estadísticas del último bimestre realizada por el Centro de Control de Operaciones (CCO) de Ituran Argentina, el 54,2 por ciento del total de los incidentes de robo se produjo entre las 18 y las 24. Esta franja horaria viene marcando una tendencia de robos en ascenso, ya que en marzo pasado había alcanzado el 42,8% y en abril subía fuertemente al 49,3 por ciento. Los domingos fueron los días en los que se produjeron la mayor cantidad de incidentes, encabezando la lista con un 19,1 por ciento, seguido en menor medida por los días jueves, viernes y sábados.
En cuanto al lugar físico preferido por los delincuentes, la calle fue el lugar donde se registraron el mayor número de robos, dado que el 80% de los incidentes se cometieron en la vía pública y el 20 por ciento frente a los domicilios de los dueños de los autos.
