Más de 500 estudiantes, junto a docentes, de escuelas públicas y privadas de Almirante Brown participaron de la jornada “Participación política y voto a los 16” que se llevó a cabo en el Club Defensores de Glew.
La jornada contó con la presencia del subsecretario de Educación, Néstor Ribet, la directora provincial de Escuelas Secundarias, Claudia Bracchi junto a inspectores y autoridades de educación provinciales y locales. También participaron los precandidatos a intendentes Mariano Cascallares, por el FpV y Arturo Rodrigúez Anido por el GEN y la precandidata a consejera escolar por el FpV. Natalia Charles Mangeón.
“Tiene que saber que nadie les regala nada. Este derecho cívico que hoy tiene como la posibilidad de participación es el resultado de la lucha de muchos chicos y chicas como ustedes que dieron la vida en defensa de sus derechos”, aseguró Ribet al dirigirse a los jóvenes brownianos.
En la misma linea, Bracci aseguró que la participacón no sea por medio de una resolución sino que debe materializarse en las cuales”, tras lo cual se refirió a la importancia de la Ley de Centros de Estudiantes. “En el 2007 cuando asumimos nuestra gestión había sólo 53 centros en las escuelas bonaerenses, ahora son 1700″, detallo la funcionaria provincial en dialofo con Brown On Line al tiempo que enfatizó:”Uno de los fines de la escuela secundaria es formar ciudadanos y la participación política es parte de la ciudadanía”, señaló la funcion
Por su parte, Cascallares destacó como “han progresado los espacios de participación los últimos años” e instó a los jóvenes a participar: “Es importante participar, no tengan tengan miedo a debatir a participar. Ustedes tiene que ser protagonista porqué los jóvenes no son sólo el futuro, también son el presente, tiene que ser protagonistas”, aseguró el precandidato a intendente por el FpV.
En Almirante Brown los espacios de participación juvenil han ido aumentando con la formación de centros de estudiantes en distintas escuelas del distrito y con la formación de la Federación de Estudiantes Secundarios, un espacio para el debate y la discusión de os jóvenes en temas de su interés.
“Estamos trabajando en conjunto con los docentes y los jóvenes para lograr que haya espacio de participación política en cada una de las escuelas. Hay que tener confianza en ellos, darles la palabra en temas que los involucra y eso es lo que se ha impulsado desde el Gobierno Nacional implementado políticas que los tiene a los pibes como protagonistas”, explicó la coordinadora de Políticas Socio-Educativas, Charles Mangeón.
Durante la jornada que se llevó adelante en Glew forma parte del programa “Gobierno, Democrático en la Escuela” de la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación. Bajo la modalidad de talleres para alumnos y docentes, se debate qué es la participación política y que sentidos le dan los jóvenes, y los adultos, a la visión de los adolescentes como sujetos con poder de decisión.
“Sabemos que muchos piensan que los jóvenes no sabemos nada dela política, que no nos comprometemos pero no es así, noostros queremos saber para poder entender y participar”, señaló Rocio de la Escuela Defensores de Glew que junto a sus compañeros Camila y Juan Ignacio oficiaron de locutores del acto: “Queremos formar nuestro centros de estudiantes, queremos participar por nuestra escuela”.
