La Escuela N° 5 de Longchamps fue el espacio para la presentación de un programa integral de formación tributaria destinado a alumnos de 5° año que cursan en escuelas secundarias públicas y privadas de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Los contenidos pedagógicos, que fueron recientemente incorporados a la currícula oficial, están orientados a conocer la importancia d los impuestos, su sentido social, el papel que tienen en el financiamiento de servicios y políticas públicas, así como también las responsabilidades que les caben a los ciudadanos en su rol de contribuyentes.
La presentación contó con la participación del titular de Arba, Iván Budassi y del presidente del Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS), Mariano Cascallares.
Budassi afirmó que “desde el Gobierno de Daniel Scioli siempre buscamos promover entre los jóvenes un efectivo ejercicio de la ciudadanía y, en ese camino, difundir la cultura tributaria y explicar el funcionamiento de lo público son aspectos muy importantes”.
El director de Arba subrayó que “como complemento de la formación pedagógica que se realizará en las escuelas de los distritos que participan, lanzaremos un concurso entre los alumnos para fomentar el uso de la boleta electrónica, ya que se trata de un servicio muy importante que simplifica el cumplimiento tributario y, al ahorrar papel, favorece un desarrollo sustentable”.
En la oportunidad, Cascallares destacó la importancia de que “la Escuela Secundaria forme ciudadanos que conozcan el funcionamiento del sistema tributario y previsional” y acotó: “También es fundamental que haya un Estado presente que destine los recursos públicos a servicios y acciones concretas que le mejoren la vida a la gente ”.
Según explicó Budassi este programa incluye “la realización de un inédito concurso en el que los alumnos buscarán adherir a familiares y vecinos al servicio de boleta por mail, que desde Arba ofrecemos a los contribuyentes para que reciban los impuestos directamente en su correo electrónico”.
En un principio el programa, que comprende tanto la formación en temas fiscales como la participación en el concurso, se desarrollará como prueba piloto en colegios de los municipios de La Plata, Bahía Blanca, Almirante Brown, Luján y Lobería, y con posterioridad podría extenderse al resto de los distritos de la Provincia.
