La Presidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner encabezará este miércoles, a partir de las 12, un acto en la Estación de Retiro con motivo de la recuperación del Sistema Ferroviario Nacional y como parte de los festejos por la Semana de Mayo.
Estará acompañada por el Ministro del Interior y Transporte, Florencio Randazzo, miembros del gabinete, gobernadores, intendentes y por miles de trabajadores ferroviarios.
En las instalaciones de la estación habrá intervenciones artísticas y se exhibirán formaciones de corta y larga distancia recientemente incorporadas por el Estado Nacional.
El pasado 15 de abril de este año el Congreso de la Nación sancionó la Ley que creó la empresa Ferrocarriles Argentinos y declaró de ‘Interés Público Nacional’ y ‘Objetivo prioritario de la república Argentina’ a la ‘política de reactivación de los ferrocarriles de pasajeros y de cargas’.
Esta acto se desarrollará como parte de las celebraciones por la semana de mayo que finalizarán con la realización del Festival Popular ‘La Patria es el Otro’ que se desarrollará en Plazo de Mayo el lunes 25 con la participación de decenas de artistas nacionales e internacionales.
