El gobernador de Salta y candidato del Frente Justicialista Renovador para la Victoria, Juan Manuel Urtubey, ganó las elecciones provinciales por más de 20 puntos de diferencia con su principal oponente y tendrá a su cargo los destinos de la provincia hasta 2019.
“Quiero que sepan que a partir de hoy tendrán en mi a un hombre que con la misma tranquilidad espiritual con que ha caminado Salta lo va a hacer en cada rincón de la Argentina, para que podamos profundizar el proyecto con el que Néstor Kirchner puso de pie al país y que ha profundizado la presidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner”, expresó.
Urtubey, que resultó electo para cumplir su tercer mandato, estuvo acompañado en el escenario montado en los salones del Hotel Provincial por su compañero de fórmula, el actual intendente capitalino, Miguel Isa; su par jujeño, Eduardo Fellner; y una comitiva de funcionarios nacionales.
Entre ellos se destacan el jefe de Gabinete, Aníbal Fernánez; el ministro del Interior y Transporte, Florencio Randazzo; el secretario general de la Presidencia, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro; y el titular de la Cámara de Diputados de la Nación, Julián Domínguez.
Escrutadas el 99,22 por ciento de los votos en toda la provincia, Urtubey se quedaba con el 51,16 por ciento, mientras que Juan Carlos Romero, del Frente Romero+Olmedo, obtenía el 30,66 por ciento; el Frente UCR-UNEN-PS el 8,27 por ciento; el Partido Obrero el 6,24 por ciento; el Movimiento Socialista de los Trabajadores el 1,89% y el Frente Popular el 1,74 por ciento.
