El Senado de la Nación convirtió hoy en ley el proyecto enviado por el Poder Ejecutivo para estatizar los trenes y crear la empresa pública Ferrocarriles Argentinos, con el objeto de reactivar el servicio de cargas y de pasajeros.
La iniciativa fue respaldada por el Frente para la Victoria, el radicalismo, el PRO y el peronismo disidente.
En tanto, votó en contra la centroizquierda conformada por SUR-GEN (Fernando Solanas) y el Frente Cívico de Córdoba (Norma Morandini).
El ministro del Interior y Transporte, Florencio Randazzo, estuvo presente durante los discursos de los últimos oradores y al momento de la votación, que se produjo minutos después de las siete de la tarde.
El proyecto enviado por el Poder Ejecutivo al Congreso Nacional declara de “Interés Público Nacional” y “objetivo prioritario de la República Argentina” a la “política de reactivación de los ferrocarriles de pasajeros y de cargas”.
También busca la “renovación y el mejoramiento de la infraestructura ferroviaria” y la “incorporación de tecnologías y servicios que coadyuven a su modernización”.
El texto otorga al Estado la “plena administración de la infraestructura ferroviaria en todo el territorio nacional”, con potestad para “desafectar bienes, rescatar, reconvenir o renegociar contratos de concesión suscriptos con Nuevo Central Argentino, Ferroexpreso Pampeano, Ferrosur Roca, Metrovías y Ferrovías”.

La Presidenta eligió la red social Twitter para expresar su satisfacción tras la votación que se produjo en el Senado, que convirtió en ley el proyecto del ejecutivo de estatización del sistema ferroviario argentino.
Cristina manifestó su satisfacción a través de las redes sociales, donde acompañó sus textos con fotografías de las nuevos coches incorporados al sistema ferroviario argentino, y recordando además las palabras del ex presidente Kirchner: “Néstor decía ´de los fierros viejos, vamos a construir nuevos sueños”.
“Recuperamos la administración de nuestros Ferrocarriles Argentinos. Con la sanción hoy de la ley de recuperación de nuestros trenes, los argentinos estamos construyendo nuevos sueños”, subrayó la presidenta.
