El hospital provincial Lucio Meléndez de Adrogué, en Almirante Brown, volverá a ser sede este año de la carrera de enfermería “Eva Perón” que dicta el ministerio de Salud de la Provincia para formar su propio recurso e incorporarlo a los planteles estables de los hospitales.
Este año dará inicio en toda la Provincia la séptima cohorte de formación de 1300 enfermeros en el marco del Programa Eva Perón, en un total de 26 sedes, de 50 alumnos cada una, respondiendo a proyectos regionales sustentados en el análisis de necesidades de formación e incorporación de estos profesionales en el sistema de salud provincial.
En la inscripción, se estimula la incorporación de los jóvenes entre 18 y 24 años de edad, que cumplan los requisitos y condiciones para acceder al programa nacional Progresar y de los jóvenes participantes del Programa Provincial Envión, a fin de que puedan iniciar sus estudios de enfermería, en este nivel educativo.
En el mes de agosto se abrirán tres nuevas sedes del Programa Eva Perón. Una de ellas, en el Hospital Zonal General “Dr. Lucio Meléndez” de Adrogué, que de esta manera iniciará su cuarta cohorte de formación de enfermeros, en el marco de este Programa.
De esta sede han egresado 87 enfermeros, formados en las cohortes 2009-2011, 2010-2012 y 2011-2013. Todos han sido incorporados a trabajar en el sistema sanitario.
Las prácticas profesionalizantes de 1er año se realizarán en diferentes espacios del primer nivel de atención y, durante los tres años de la cursada, las mismas se articularán con los Programas Ministeriales y las áreas programáticas regionales, según el perfil y diagnóstico de cada una de las Regiones Sanitarias y de los efectores sede y las prioridades sanitarias provinciales en base a lo establecido en el diseño curricular aprobado por resolución de la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación de la Provincia.
En marzo de 2009 el ministerio de Salud lanzó el plan provincial de enfermería “Eva Perón”, la primera escuela en toda América Latina en retomar la formación de enfermeros profesionales idóneos para la atención de enfermos, que fuera implementado por el primer gobierno de Perón.
La particularidad es que el Estado de la Provincia forma enfermeros profesionales pero además los incluye en los planteles de los hospitales públicos.
Durante el período 2012/2014 fueron designados en la planta permanente de los hospitales más de 5.000 enfermeros egresados del plan provincial “Eva Perón”.
Con el Plan Eva Perón, la provincia de Buenos Aires incrementó un 78% la cantidad de enfermeros que trabajan en los hospitales provinciales. En 2007 tenía 8.982 cargos y hoy cuenta con más de 16.000 enfermeros.
