El Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires realizó una jornada de concientización sobre Seguridad Vial donde participaron alrededor de 500 alumnos de diferentes establecimientos educativos de Almirante Brown.
El evento estuvo encabezado por el subsecretario de Coordinación Gubernamental de la Jefatura de Gabinete de Ministros, Emiliano Baloira y el Titular del IPS y candidato a intendente del distrito por el Frente para la Victoria, Mariano Cascallares. En tanto que el Director Provincial de Licencias, Juan Vetere, fue el encargado de brindar una charla informativa a los presentes.
“Buscamos que se respeten las normas de tránsito, que se valore la vida. La concientización es el punto de partida del cambio cultural que proponemos desde el gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Planificamos y proyectamos a futuro”, afirmó Baloira.
También resaltó el rol elemental de los jóvenes para erradicar esta problemática e instó a que “sean agentes transmisores de información, de valores y hábitos que ayudarán a disminuir la mortandad en siniestros viales”.
Por su parte, Mariano Cascallares valoró este tipo de jornadas, “que nos sirven para reflexionar sobre temáticas tan importantes como la seguridad vial”. A su vez, el titular del IPS, agregó que “esta problemática requiere de un Estado presente, pero también de la toma de conciencia de todos”.
La actividad, que se realiza de forma periódica en distintos municipios de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, forma parte de las acciones impulsadas por el Gobierno de Daniel Scioli que buscan generar conciencia e informar sobre las reglas de tránsito, con el fin de prevenir y disminuir los índices de siniestros viales.
En esta oportunidad la E.E.S N° 11 de Adrogué ofició de anfitriona y participaron alumnos de 5° y 6° año de dicho establecimiento y de la E.E.S N°1, la E.E.S N° 18, Colegio Amancio Alcorta y del Colegio ALFA.
Estuvieron presentes el Director Provincial de Evaluación y Seguimiento de Políticas Públicas, Profesor Héctor Castillo; la Inspectora Jefe Regional, Lic. Nora Saporiti y el Inspector Jefe Distrital, Lic. Carlos Ferrero.
