Almirante Brown recibirá la visita de cientos de jóvenes músicos locales y de distritos vecinos que participaran del Encuentro Regional de Orquestas Infanto Juveniles que se desarrollará este sábado a partir de las 15 en la Escuela N° 71 de Rafael Calzada, ubicada en San Juan Y Colón en el Barrio San Jerónimo de esa localidad.
En la jornada estarán interpretando su repertorio los músicos locales, que oficiarán de anfitriones, y las orquestas Huergo de Esteban Echeverría y la de Lanús.
El Programa Provincial de Orquestas Escuela es una iniciativa impulsada por la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación, dirigida a niños y jóvenes, en particular a aquellos que se encuentran en situación de vulnerabilidad socioeducativa. En la provincia hay un total de 24 orquestas escuela que desarrollan sus actividades en los distintos distritos bonaerenses.
“La Orquesta Escuela de Almirante Brown tiene el objetivo de que niños y adolescentes puedan conocer la práctica orquestal, enriquecer sus capacidades musicales y aprender a trabajar en equipo. Hasta este momento teníamos la escuela de cuerdas formada por 120 músicos de entre 10 y 21 años“, explicó el coordinador pedagógico, Pabo Gandolfo,
En Almirante Brown esta propuesta fue creciendo y hoy tiene tres sedes donde funcionan las escuelas de cuerdas una en la Casa de la Cultura de Adrogué, otra en el Barrio San Gerónimo, otra en la Escuela N° 71. Hace unos meses se abrió una orquesta de vientos que funcionan en la Escuela 9 de Longchamps. “Tratamos de tener sedes en puntos estratégicos para que puedan participar chicos de todo el distrito“, explica Galdolfo quien destaca que los sorprendió la participación de los jóvenes “ahora casi no tenemos vacantes, a los chicos les gusta la música y encuentra en la orquesta un lugar de integración y desarrollo personal y profesional”.
