La fiscalía que investiga el asesinato Melisa Tuffner, la joven que murió el 22 de julio en una esquina de Glew, tras recibir una puñalada en la cabeza, solicitó la prisión preventiva para Oscar Sosa, por el momento único imputado de matar a la joven.
El Juez de Garantías Jorge Lopez ahora tiene cinco días para decidir si Sosa, acusado de homicidio simple, sigue detenido, como solicita la fiscalía, o puede esperar el comienzo de juicio en libertad.
El domingo 19 de julio Melisa fue encontrada golpeada e inconsciente. Había salido de su casa alrededor de las 18.40 y tenía previsto asistir al partido que Temperley disputó con Independiente en el estadio Alfredo Beranger. Alrededor de las 20.30, autoridades policiales le avisaron a la familia de la joven que había sido hallada “a dos cuadras” del centro cultural al que solía concurrir “tirada, golpeada e inconsciente”, y estaba internada en la Unidad de Pronta Atención (UPA) de Longchamps.
Fue trasladada al día siguiente al Hospital Sirio Libanés, de Villa Devoto, donde falleció el 22 de julio por una hemorragia interna, después de haber estado internada con muerte cerebral. Según determinó la autopsia, tenía heridas de arma blanca craneoencefálicas que le causaron muerte cerebral. Lo determinaron peritos del Cuerpo Médico Forense de la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación.
El 17 de agosto, Sosa, un vecino del barrio que además participó en una marcha donde la familia pedía justicia, se entregó a la policía un día después de darle el pésame a su padre, Marcelo Tuffner, quien ya sabía que el hombre era buscando por las autoridades. El mismo lo había reconocido en un video de la cámara de seguridad de una peluquería. La secuencia muestra a Melisa caminando por la calle Almafuerte al 300. Detrás de ella, se ve a un hombre que la persigue, a unos diez metros. Tiene dos características que lo vinculan con “El Buey”: una pequeña renguera en una pierna, provocada por un accidente de tránsito, y una incapacidad en una de sus manos.
“Vengo a dar explicaciones”, aseguró Sosa cuando ingresó al destacamento policial del Glew. Luego dejó atónitos a los investigadores del caso: “Voy a hablar cuando Dios me lo permita” y se negó a declarar. En el Juzgado de Lomas de Zamora tampoco quiso referirse al hecho.
Oscar Sosa tiene 34 años, y es conocido en el barrio como “El Buey”, apodo que se ganó luego de que su mujer lo dejara por un amigo mientras él estuvo preso por robar un almacén del barrio. Además, tenía una causa abierta por un intento de violación a una sobrina de él en San Fernando.
