Un inédito acontecimiento llega a la ciudad, porque se realizará del 17 al 22 de marzo en Avellaneda el Primer Festival Internacional de Cine Deportivo – FICID – . La propuesta es de carácter competitiva y tiene como objetivo demostrar la conjunción entre el cine y el deporte, dos ramas de la cultura que a simple vista parecen alejadas entre sí. Además, pretende promocionar y difundir las realizaciones nacionales e internacionales, como así también consolidar el potencial cultural-deportivo. El FICID nace a partir de la idea de reunir las producciones de todas las temáticas deportivas en el ámbito cinematográfico, algo que se encontraba ausente no sólo en Argentina sino en la mayoría de los países del mundo. El Cine Wilde, ubicado en Juan Cruz Varela 6261, y el Edificio Municipal “Leonardo Favio” de 12 de Octubre 463 en Avellaneda, serán las sedes que albergarán esta propuesta de seis días de cine deportivo. Natación, tenis, básquet, atletismo, fútbol y todas las disciplinas podrán formar parte de este evento cinematográfico que se producirá por primera vez en el país. El FICID tendrá una competencia oficial internacional dividida en tres categorías: Largometrajes, Cortometrajes e Instituciones. La programación incluye además, una selección de cortometrajes denominada Mundial de Cortos realizada por la distribuidora “Hasta 30 minutos” de Luciana Abad. También se realizará una proyección especial llamada “Historia Breves Deportivas”, que consta de cortometrajes de temática deportiva que fueron incluidos en la iniciativa realizada por el INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales) llamada “Historias Breves”. El ciclo, que reúne a nuevos realizadores, cumple en este 2015 sus primeros 20 años. Dentro del marco del FICID se realizará, además, el jueves 19 a las 16, en el Edificio Municipal “Leonardo Favio”, una actividad especial referida al “Presente y futuro del cortometraje. Vías de distribución y difusión en Argentina”.
