La Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora y el Rotary Club Parque Industrial Burzaco firmaron un Convenio Marco de colaboración recíproca que funciona como antesala de la creación de una Escuela Preuniversitaria con orientación tecnológica y en oficios, que se emplazará en ese polo productivo del distrito de Almirante Brown.
“Este es un día muy importante para nuestra Facultad porque este convenio significa sellar un acuerdo que venimos esperando desde hace mucho tiempo”, consideró el decano de la casa de estudios, Oscar Pascal, y agregó: “La creación de una Escuela dentro del Parque Industrial de Burzaco es fundamental tanto para los hijos de los trabajadores de las empresas como para los que viven en el Parque y los vecinos de la zona, que ya tienen como referencia el exitoso modelo de la Escuela Tecnológica ‘Ing. Carlos Giúdici’ que funciona en Esteban Echeverría”.
El decano valoró “el gran compromiso con la educación, la capacitación y la industria de todos los empresarios que conforman el Rotary, quienes confiaron en nuestra Facultad de Ingeniería para llevar adelante este proyecto”. Y añadió: “Argentina necesita de más ingenieros, y la mejor manera de lograrlo es inculcándole a los jóvenes desde la escuela los valores y la vocación por el estudio de la técnica y la tecnología”.
“Nuestra Escuela Tecnológica, que funciona en Indelama de Monte Grande, es un modelo que ya fue copiado por varias universidades de nuestro país y que pretende una articulación fluida y natural entre el nivel medio y el universitario, sumado al contacto directo con la industria durante el período de enseñanza”, concluyó.
El encuentro para firmar el documento se realizó en el edificio de la empresa Barbieri, que cedió parte de su predio para la construcción de la Escuela. De la reunión participaron el Coordinador Administrativo del Ciclo Superior de la Escuela Tecnológica ‘Ing. Carlos E.
