Una estudio realizado por el Ministerio de Justicia de la Provincia de Buenos Aires reveló que el 93% de quienes participaron como jurado cambió de manera positiva su opinión sobre la Justicia.
Nueve de cada 10 personas que participaron en el juicio por jurados realizado las últimas semanas en San Isidro, cambiaron positivamente su percepción sobre la justicia y lo calificaron como buena o muy buena. El dato se desprende de una encuesta realizada por el ministerio de Justicia de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en conjunto con el Tribunal Oral Criminal 2 de San Isidro donde se realizó el proceso. Antes del juicio, sólo el 42,1% manifestaba una opinión positiva de la justicia.
La información surge de dos sondeos realizados por el Ministerio de Justicia de la provincia de Buenos Aires a través de la subsecretaría de Política Criminal, en conjunto con el tribunal interviniente, a los ciudadanos convocados para actuar como jurados.
El trabajo reflejó también que el 85,7% de los participantes aseguró que volvería a ser jurados mientras que el 100% de los jurados titulares manifestaron que sintieron haber contribuido con su aporte a la solución del juicio. Además, el 80% destacó que esta modalidad en los juicios ofrece las garantías necesarias a las partes.
Los entrevistados eran amas de casa, comerciantes, empleados administrativos, estudiantes, entre otros, y su mayoría se ubica en la franja de edad entre 21 y 35 años.
La realización de esta encuesta responde a una acción conjunta del Ministerio de Justicia con la Suprema Corte de Justicia y la Procuración General de la provincia, que pretende aplicarse a los juicios por jurados para la correcta implementación de este Sistema.
En un trabajo anterior realizado en el juicio por jurados que se llevó a cabo en Junín a fines de mayo, en el cual el 81% de los ciudadanos había calificado de buena o muy buena su opinión sobre la justicia.
Hasta el momento, se han desarrolla trece juicios en toda la provincia desde el mes de marzo (dos en San Martín, Bahía Blanca y La Matanza; uno en Pergamino, Trenque Lauquen, Tres Arroyos, Lomas de Zamora, Necochea, Junín y San Isidro).
