El ex-Intendente despilfarró esa suma del presupuesto local en su fallida campaña para gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires por el espacio donde pertenecía. Se supo luego de que ingresara al municipio una factura de esa suma por gastos de publicidad en televisión.
El diputado Darío Giustozzi enfrenta una fuerte polémica en su distrito generada por el ingreso al Concejo Deliberante de un expediente con la factura de $4,5 millones que el ex intendente gastó en un aviso para la televisión durante las tandas de publicidad de los partidos de la Selección Argentina en el Mundial de Brasil. Ese gasto, que fue costeado por el municipio para promocionar su candidatura a gobernador por el Frente Renovador, y pagado por todos los vecinos, fue generado cuando el diputado estaba de licencia en el Municipio y no se desempeñaba como Intendente.
El viernes pasado el Giustozzismo intentó tratar sobre tablas la controvertida iniciativa, pero ante la negativa del FPV el expediente pasó a la Comisión de Hacienda. El mismo contiene una factura de la empresa Praxis SRL por $4.498.000, con el número el número HCD 19290/15.
Desde el Bloque del FPV, denunciaron que “teniendo en cuenta que los anuncios publicitarios fueron transmitidos en duplicado durante los tres partidos de la Selección en la primera ronda, la cifra gastada por Giustozzi es de 4.500.000 pesos, lo que equivale a aproximadamente a un 5 por ciento del presupuesto total del municipio para 2014”.
“Con ese dinero se podrían haber construido dos jardines de infantes para nuestro distrito, o escuelas, o pavimentar calles enteras que hoy se encuentran anegadas. Ahora todos los vecinos debemos pagar esta publicidad con recursos que podrían destinarse a cloacas, a agua potable o a arreglar los barrios que están abandonados”, precisó el precandidato a intendente del FPV Mariano Cascallares.
En su momento, el ex diputado del GEN y actual director en la la Afsca, Gerardo Milman había afirmado que “es insólito que (Giustozzi) aparezca en una publicidad de Almirante Brown cuando, ya sea por renuncia o licencia, no es más el intendente”.
Darío Giustozzi renunció a la Municipalidad de Almirante Brown en setiembre pasado, hace solamente nueve meses. Sin embargo hace pocos días pegó el portazo del massismo y volvió al FPV lanzándose a una nueva candidatura por la Intendencia. “A la hora de votar, no nos olvidemos de cómo Giustozzi usó los fondos públicos del Municipio para su interés personal”, finalizó Cascallares.
