La Policía logró identificar a los dos sospechosos del agente de Policía Federal que fue asesinado en Claypole de un balazo al resistirse a un robo cuando esperaba la llegada de un colectivo para trasladarse a su casa.Los sospechosos aun no fueron detenidos y según trascendió, uno de ellos sería un menor de 17 años oriundo de Florencio Varela.
El asesinato ocurrió el martes por la noche en la avenida Monteverde y Charcas Sur cuando el agente fue sorprendido por dos jóvenes que aparentemente quisieron robarle. La víctima, identificada como Carlos Céspedes, se desempeñaba en la Guardia de Infantería de la fuerza de seguridad nacional y, según indicaron las fuentes cercanas al caso, ese día había trabajado hasta las 22. En ese horario, vestido de civil, salió junto con una compañera que se ofreció a llevarlo en su automóvil y lo dejó en la dirección donde -alrededor de media hora después- fue atacado.
Se cree que, a punta de pistola, le exigieron la entrega de dinero y de los objetos de valor, pero el agente se identificó como policía y extrajo su arma reglamentaria, con la que intentó defenderse.
Sin embargo, los delincuentes le dispararon un tiro en la zona del tórax y el policía cayó gravemente herido al piso, sin llegar a utilizar su arma.
Ante el impacto de las balas, “que ingresaron en la zona dorsal derecha y en la zona lumbar izquierda”, el efectivo cayó al suelo herido gravemente. Los delincuentes, por su parte, huyeron en un Peugeot 504 con la pistola Bersa 9 milímetros y otros objetos personales del herido.
Minutos después, los vecinos que habían escuchado los disparos lo asistieron y lo llevaron al Hospital Subzonal Materno Infantil “Dr. Eduardo Ollier”, de San Francisco Solano, donde finalmente falleció.
