Más de 200 mil personas se concentraron en las inmediaciones del Congreso de la Nación y bajo la consigna #NiUnaMenos pidieron la implementación de políticas integrales entre todos los poderes y jurisdicciones del Estado para para decirle basta a los femicidios y a la violencia de género, una problemática que “atraviesa todas las clases sociales, credos e ideologías”.
En una manifestación con mayoría de mujeres pero con gran presencia de hombres, familias, militantes políticos, personalidades de la cultura y del espectáculo, los participantes le pusieron el cuerpo a un reclamo cuyo eje quedó plasmado en un documento que fue leído desde el escenario por el actor Juan Minujín.
“En 2008 mataron una mujer cada 40 horas; en 2014, cada 30. En esos 7 años, los medios publicaron noticias sobre 1.808 femicidios. ¿Cuántas mujeres murieron asesinadas sólo por ser mujeres en 2015? No lo sabemos. Pero sí sabemos que tenemos que decir basta”, leyó el actor.
“En estos años, los femicidios dejaron cerca de 1500 niñas y niños huérfanos y algunos de ellos están obligados a convivir con los asesinos. El problema es de todos y de todas. La solución hay que construirla en conjunto. Necesitamos sumar compromisos para cambiar una cultura que tiende a pensar a la mujer como objeto de consumo y descarte y no como una persona autónoma”, continuó.
El documento elaborado por las organizadoras de la concentración que según la Policía Federal reunió a más 200 mil personas en la ciudad y se replicó en otras 80 de todo el país, hizo hincapié en la dimensión cultural que tiene la violencia contra las mujeres.
Entre los “puntos ineludibles” que las organizadoras consensuaron “para recorrer el camino hacia Ni una menos”, figura la instrumentación total y con la asignación de presupuesto acorde de la ley 26.485 ; la recopilación y publicación de estadísticas oficiales sobre violencia hacia las mujeres; la apertura y funcionamiento pleno de Oficinas de Violencia Doméstica de la Corte Suprema de Justicia en todas las provincias; y profundización en todas las currículas educativas de los diferentes niveles de la educación sexual integral con perspectiva de género.
También exigieron garantías para la protección de las víctimas de violencia y garantías para su acceso a la Justicia, con atención de personal capacitado para recibir las denuncias; patrocinio jurídico gratuito para las víctimas durante todo el proceso judicial; y la creación de más Hogares/Refugio en la emergencia, Hogares de Día para víctimas, y subsidio habitacional, con una asistencia interdisciplinaria desde una perspectiva de género.
