En el Centro Municipal de Deportes se desarrolló un torneo nacional de Handball sobre silla de ruedas. Varios conjuntos del interior de nuestro país y un equipo uruguayo formaron parte de la competición que volverá a repetirse cada cuarenta dias.
El fin de semana pasado se disputó en el Predio Muncipal de deportes de Ministro Rivadavia, una nueva edición de la Liga de handball sobre silla de ruedas.
La competición recibió a equipos de Santiago del Estero, Corrientes, Chaco y Mar del Plata, y también de otros de distintas localidades del Conurbano Bonaerense.
Además, el torneo contó con la participación de un equipo internacional proveniente de Uruguay. Pablo Giménez, entrenador del equipo de APRI, Uruguay sustuvo que “a partir del año 2012 tomamos contacto con los chicos de Brown que viajaron a Uruguay y a partir de ahí comenzamos a charlar, muy de a poco, porque a veces es difícil inculcarle a la persona con discapacidad la idea que puede practicar deporte”.
El encuentro colmó las expectativas y según autoridades municipales cada cuarenta días se va a volver a repetir este torneo con la idea de que esta disciplina continúe creciendo.
