“Deshoras es un libro de cuentos de Cortazar, que fue un admirador del jazz, tema que ha sido abordado en su obra, como en su cuento El Perseguidor, un homenaje a Charles Parker. En la obra de Cortazar toca mucho el tema del tiempo y las improvisación algo propio y característico del jazz y nos pareció un buen nombre para nuestro espacio”, nos cuenta Stilman, egresado de la Escuela de Música de Avellaneda.
“Deshoras nació para brindarles a los músicos un lugar donde tocar, en el cual sean bien tratados, con una buena acústica y un cálido ambiente donde presentar su obra artística. Yo soy músico, también de jazz, y creo que espacio como estos no son comunes. También es una forma de acercar este estilo de música a la zona sur y no reducir todas las propuestas a la Capital federal”, destaco Stilmann.
Deshoras funciona en una vieja casona que fue restaurada y arreglada por Ernesto con la ayuda de su padre y amigos. “Le pusimos el corazón a este proyecto. Se hizo a pulmón, con mucho trabajo y esfuerzo. Uno la sigue remando porque cree en esto y vale más allá de la plata”, aseguró con orgullo.
La apertura oficial de Deshoras estuvo a cargo del músico norteamericano Jonathan Kreisberg junto a Yunta y Jerónimo Carbona, artistas referentes del jazz local. “Artistas reconocidos se enteran de este espacio y nuestra el interés de tocar acá, es un orgullo para nosotros”, aseguró Ernesto quien aspira que “seguir consolidando este polo cultural de intercambio ofreciéndole a los músicos espacios de nivel para tocar y al público espectáculos excelentes en el conurbano. Creemos que vamos por el buen camino porque le pones el corazón y cuando pones el corazón salen las cosas”.
Algunas de las actividades estables de “Deshoras” son los eventos artísticos y conciertos que se realizan los sábados y viernes a la noche. Prima el jazz pero también hay espectáculos de tanto y folclore. Además, se dictan clases de guitarra, batería, bajo, saxo y otros instrumentos y, también se han agregado talleres de teatro y stand up. Pero el fuerte son los espectáculos de primer nivel que ofrece este espacio ubicado en Roca 757, Burzaco.
