Los vecinos del Sur están aprovechando la posibilidad de cambiar sus electrodomésticos y modernizarse con el programa Renovate, una política del Gobierno nacional que les permite hacerlo con hasta un 25 por ciento de descuento.
A poco más de 30 días de su lanzamiento, los números (todavía no están desagregados por comunas) corresponden al área metropolitana de Buenos Aires, pero según estiman versiones oficiales, el éxito también se repite en el Sur: hasta el momento se registraron más de 7 mil equipos vendidos, de los cuales más de 3500 fueron heladeras y casi 4 mil, lavarropas.
Esta actualización de aparatos permite que los viejos, mucho más demandantes energías que los nuevos, puedan ser desguazados de acuerdo a la normativa ambiental vigente.
Los vendedores de las principales empresas de la Tercera sección que comercializan electrodomésticos, reconocieron que fue aceptado por los vecinos, quienes lo adoptaron rápidamente. “Está funcionando bien, los clientes están al tanto de su implementación. Se nota sobre todo los sábados porque se acumula con el Ahora 12”, coincidieron.
De esta manera, los sábados, los lavarropas que promedian los $4 mil y las heladeras que rondan los $6 mil, se consiguen con un descuento del 25 por ciento y en 12 cuotas. Sin embargo, durante la última semana se registró una caída del 9 por ciento en las ventas debido a la disponibilidad de stocks, según números del Ministerio de Economía.
Más allá de que la intención es que los vecinos puedan llevarse a sus casas heladeras y lavarropas modernos, el correcto desmantelamiento de los equipos viejos es una cuestión central en el Programa. Una vez que se concreta la venta, el comercio debe retirar de manera gratuita el aparto por el domicilio, con la condición de que todavía funcione. “Desde la Provincia respaldamos el desarrollo de este Programa, que tiene un doble objetivo: por un lado fomenta la adquisición de electrodomésticos, y por otro, contribuye a disminuir el consumo energético, constituyendo un gran aporte al Medio Ambiente”, explicó el titular del Organismo Provincial
para el Desarrollo Sostenible, Hugo Bilbao.
