La presidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner encabezó ayer el homenaje al cumplirse 5 años de la elección del ex presidente Kirchner como primer Secretario General de la Unasur. La ceremonia se realiza en el Salón de los Patriotas de Casa de Gobierno.
La mandataria señaló que los ex presidentes Néstor Kirchner y Hugo Chávez “no fueron hombres de la comodidad, vinieron a incomodar a los poderosos, vinieron a encender el fuego no a apagarlo, a encender los fuegos de la igualdad”, al cerrar el acto en Casa de Gobierno en el que se recordó el quinto aniversario de la asunción del ex mandatario argentino al frente de la Unasur.
Así lo expresó la mandataria al encabezar el acto de homenaje al ex presidente Néstor Kirchner, al cumplirse cinco años de su elección por unanimidad como primer secretario general de la Unasur, y tras descubrir los cuadros del ex presidente argentino y del ex jefe de Estado venezolano, Hugo Chávez, en la galería de los Patriotas Latinoamericanos en Casa de Gobierno.
“En este mismo lugar despedimos a mi compañero, y por las cosas de la vida estaba Hugo (Chávez) que me acompañó”, recordó la presidenta y destacó: “quién iba a creer que apenas dos años después iba a tener que viajar yo a Caracas con mi hija a despedir a ese otro compañero”.
Sobre esos dos fallecimientos, planteó que “fueron dos pérdidas grandes no solamente en términos personales, ni sólo para Venezuela o Argentina”, sino que “fueron pérdidas importantes para la región y para nuestra historia”.
Además dijo que “esos dos hombres que dieron su vida y lucharon por el último momento sabiendo que debían hacer cosas para su salud, para resguardarse y que no lo hicieron, porque para ellos la vida era otra cosa: era luchar, no bajar los brazos, vinieron a este mundo a incomodar a los poderosos, a los poderes establecidos; para desafiar las reglas, a encender los fuegos de la igualdad del pueblo”.
Previo al discurso de la primera mandataria argentina, se refirió a la figura de Kirchner el ex Secretario General de Unasur, el venezolano Alí Rodríguez Araque; quien valoró la figura del ex presidente así como también quien ocupa ese cargo actualmente, Ernesto Samper.
Samper afirmó que “esta región es un oasis de paz en medio de un mundo azotado por conflictos étnicos o religiosos”, y valoró de la gestión de Néstor Kirchner al frente de Unasur la Cláusula Democrática que se firmó en 2010.
