Varios delincuentes robaron más de medio millón de pesos al desvalijar un cajero automático, en un suceso que se registró en la localidad bonaerense de Bancalari. Los delincuentes lograron fugar y ahora son buscados intensamente por la policía.
Según informa el diario Crónica, el hecho se produjo en un cajero automático de la red Link, perteneciente al Banco Credicoop, el cual se encuentra instalado en una estación de servicio clausurada, que está situada en una de las colectoras de la ruta Panamericana, en proximidades del cruce con la ruta provincial 202.
Trascendió que los delincuentes, con ayuda de una mecha, abrieron un boquete en una de las paredes laterales del aparato y, de esta manera, sustrajeron esos cartuchos, que tenían los billetes. De inmediato, los asaltantes huyeron rápidamente.
Algunos custodios privados de la empresa Prosegur concurrieron al escenario del robo luego de ser alertados de la situación.
Diversas versiones extraoficiales sostienen que el cajero automático había sido cargado horas antes con cartuchos que tenían alrededor de 780.000 pesos y, por dicho motivo, los investigadores opinan que los integrantes de la gavilla habrían logrado apoderarse de más de medio millón de esa moneda. Sin embargo, los informantes reconocieron que habrá que esperar a que se efectúe el arqueo definitivo para entonces determinar fehacientemente la cantidad robada por los delincuentes.
