A casi 5 años del crimen de Romina Acuña, efectivos de la Bonaerense lograron detener al presunto autor material del disparo que asesinó a la joven madre de 20 años de Ministro Rivadavia.
El imputado es Silvano Maidana, vecino de la víctima, quien estaba prófugo desde el día del crimen y, pese a las reiteradas denuncia de la familia Acuña, la Policía no podía dar con su paradero. Según el testimonio de Estela Marís, madre de Romina, este hombre aparecía en el barrio por las noches, pero siempre lograba escaparse cuando daban el alerta a la comisaría.
Romina fue asesinada el 10 de octubre del 2010 en su vivienda en el marco de un ataque por parte de un grupo de presuntos delincuentes que abrieron fuego contra ella y sus hermanos.
La joven fue herida de gravedad en el cuello por el impacto de una bala y falleció al poco tiempo de recibir el disparo. El padre y el hermano de la víctima fueron heridos durante la balacera pero lograron reponerse al ataque.
“Estamos muy contentos de que finalmente lo hayan agarrado, estamos esperamos el día del juicio para que pague por la muerte de mi hija”, expresó su mama.
