En un confuso hecho producido en la noche del martes, madrugada del miércoles, un agente de la Policía Federal murió tras tirotearse con un compañero de la fuerza y efectivos de la Policía bonaerense que lo acusaron de haber asaltado un colectivo junto a dos cómplices, que terminaron heridos y detenidos, en el partido de Quilmes.
Fuentes policiales informaron a Télam que todo comenzó alrededor de las 0.30, en el cruce de avenida Monteverde y calle 893, en la localidad de San Francisco Solano, del partido de Quilmes, al Sur del conurbano, donde transitaba un interno de la Línea 148, conocida como “Nuevo Halcón”.
De acuerdo con el testimonio de los voceros, tres delincuentes armados con fines de robo abordaron la unidad en la que viajaba un efectivo de la Policía Federal vestido de civil que se identificó como tal y se resistió al asalto. En esas circunstancias se produjo un primer enfrentamiento armado a bordo del colectivo y en el que uno de los sospechosos resultó herido, dijeron los informantes. Según las fuentes, una vez detenida la unidad, los otros dos delincuentes huyeron a la carrera pero fueron perseguidos por el policía federal y dos efectivos de la Jefatura Distrital Quilmes, que patrullaba la zona.
En la vía pública se volvió a generar un tiroteo en el que primero detuvieron a un sospechoso herido, en tanto un tercero cayó muerto de dos balazos a unos 150 metros. Mientras que los dos heridos quedaron internados y detenidos, el fallecido fue identificado luego como un agente en actividad de la División Operaciones Urbanas de Contención y Actividades Deportivas (Doucad) de la Policía Federal Argentina, confirmaron fuentes policiales. Los informantes agregaron que en poder de los sospechosos se secuestraron una pistola calibre 9 milímetros y un revólver calibre 32, al tiempo que los policías que se tirotearon con estos resultaron ilesos.
El hecho es investigado por el fiscal Andrés Nieva Woodgate de la Unidad Funcional de Instrucción (UFI) 4 del Departamento Judicial Quilmes, quien dispuso que los peritajes en la escena del crimen fuesen realizados por personal de Gendarmería Nacional, para alejar todo tipo de sospecha respecto de los resultados que pudieren arrojar.
